Addicted to scatter cushions

I am seriously addicted to scatter cushions, It can change the look and feel of a room with just a few different shades of colour, pattern and texture. At the moment I am loving the combination of white, yellow, black and grey's. I think this colour combination works well in the bedroom. I would like to see it in a beachside holiday home, just to get away from the typical blue and white themes generally seen in coastal properties.

I found this image on Pinterest, thanks to Focal Point Styling. I travelled to New York in September 2012 and was so inspired by the current trends. What an amazing place!! This room reminds me of walking down Fifth Avenue into all the designer shops, they were so luxurious, fun, and modern, I felt like a kid in a candy store :).  I really like how so many different cushions look so good together, mixing and matching tones, patterns and texture. I hope to go back to New York again soon, I never got to have my horse and carriage ride through Central Park.....sigh!!!!!

Another one of my favourites, the above photo is a classic example of how a stark white room can be brought all together with a subtle hint of lilac and green, in different patterns.
